Thank you 5LO! (2011-2012)
You have been amazing! I am so proud of you all.
It has been a wonderful year, with so many fond memories. I would like to wish you all the very best in Year 6. Make sure you say ‘Hello’ next year… I’m only across the corridor!
In the meantime, I would like to wish you all a fabulous, relaxing holiday. Let’s hope the sun shines!
The rain didn’t prevent anybody from completing one length of the playground with our own version of the Olympic torch.
Congratulations to those who were selected by ‘Explore Learning’ for their wonderful writing towards a competition entry completed in May!
Miss Orton is very proud of you!
Healthy sandwiches were enjoyed by all, as 5LO made their own healthy sandwiches as part of our DT Project. We had a great afternoon and they tasted delicious!
5LO – Tell us about your sandwich!
Yesterday, many of us saw the arrival of the Olympic torch, passing through Birmingham City Centre and Solihull Town Centre, as part of the torch relay across Britain, in the lead up to the Olympic Games 2012. It was an early start (around 6.30am!) for those who saw the torch at the top of our school’s road!
5LO have also told their teacher all about the celebrations last weekend for the torch’s arrival in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham. It sounded fantastic!
Have you seen the torch? Send us a comment to let us know where!
What a superb day!
Well done to everybody who took part 🙂
Miss Orton was really impressed with her Green Team!
