Thank you 5LO!  (2011-2012)

You have been amazing! I am so proud of you all.

It has been a wonderful year, with so many fond memories. I would like to wish you all the very best in Year 6. Make sure you say ‘Hello’ next year… I’m only across the corridor!

In the meantime, I would like to wish you all a fabulous,  relaxing holiday. Let’s hope the sun shines!

Is it a healthy sandwich…? Yes Chef!

Healthy sandwiches were enjoyed by all, as 5LO made their own healthy sandwiches as part of our DT Project. We had a great afternoon and they tasted delicious!

The Olympic torch comes to Birmingham…

Standard

Yesterday, many of us saw the arrival of the Olympic torch, passing through Birmingham City Centre and Solihull Town Centre, as part of the torch relay across Britain, in the lead up to the Olympic Games 2012. It was an early start (around 6.30am!) for those who saw the torch at the top of our school’s road!

5LO have also told their teacher all about the celebrations last weekend for the torch’s arrival in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham. It sounded fantastic!

Have you seen the torch? Send us a comment to let us know where!

Year 5 @ The Old Rep Theatre, Birmingham

Standard

Year 5 recently saw a professional version of ‘Hip Hope Hero’ at The Old Rep Theatre, in Birmingham. The children thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous show, with animation, dance and puppetry.

Afterwards, Year 5 took to the stage…

Performing their version of Hip Hope Hero, the children were absolutely fantastic! Fun was had by all on stage, behind the scenes, and in the dressing rooms!

WELL DONE YEAR 5!
